An unwitting acquaintance requests personal use of an inventor's time machine.

Oh, hello do you have some time to go
'Cuz the future and the past have my concern
There are only present eras I have seen
If I borrow your machine I will return
before you know

Understood, this contraption here is good
With the privilege of science in my home
Space and time is a wonderful design
But with it one cannot be on his own
With one trip you could rip apart the fibers
of the cosmos in a most traumatic way
As exciting and enticing as it is...
you must avoid the origin of days

I'm sincere and I humbly persevere
As my character is my word it should explain
This is more than a joyride I implore
There is universal insight to obtain
but I am here

I'm afraid I can't lend you what I've made
Not that your vacation lacks direction
But years I've lost to exhausting procedure
Traveling dimensions in perfection
You may find in an intersecting lifetime
The catastrophic consequence it plays
As enticing and exciting as it is
You must avoid the origin of days
